How does Emtone Work?
Emtone uses radiofrequency energy to heat your skin to the ideal temperature to facilitate new collagen formation and tighten existing collagen fibers. The result is smooth and taut skin. What happens during an emtone treatment?
During the procedure, a grounding pad is placed on your back, and the Emtone device is carefully glided over the treatment areas. As the handpiece moves over your skin, you’ll feel a warm sensation as your tissue temperature increases. The device has an automatic shut-off feature that ensures it’s never too hot or uncomfortable. Some of the patients have also compared the sensation to a hot stone massage.
How long does an emtone treatment take?
The procedure should conclude within 30 minutes, and you can return to your daily activities immediately.
How many emtone treatments will i need?
You’ll likely need several treatment sessions for optimal results, depending on the treatment area and your specific concerns. Our Emtone specialist will be able to customize a plan that best meets your needs. Most patients undergo 4 -8 treatments, scheduled once a week.
How long until I start to see results?
Emtone activates your body’s natural collagen formation capabilities. For that reason it doesn’t produce immediate results as the work is done naturally by the body after the procedure. Results will become apparent over several weeks and the final results should be apparent within 12 weeks.
How long do results last?
Every patient responds differently to Emtone. You may require a maintenance treatment once every quarter or year in order to retain the treatment results.
